relax

We have had gorgeous weather the last couple weeks, I have been out enjoying this lovely Summer weather while I can! (That's why I haven't been blogging lately...)

Bought a new bikini at AE and I always make sure I wear sunscreen; Hawaiian Tropic is my fave, loves the scent!

gayle's garden

Spent the day relaxing in the back yard, nature sure is a beauty! Hunny's Mom takes pride in her garden, as you can see, how divine!

oh, little birds!

I've been working from my parents home the past week since we are in the process of moving, and as I was putting my shoes on to leave, I noticed a cute owl carved out of wood, hiding on the last shelf of my Mother's bookcase, how divine! {see pictures 3 + 4}

We are living with my other half's parents temporarily until we find a place to call our own, and I noticed these little brass cuties on the dresser in the room I am staying in {last picture} They are too cute :)

The two pics at the top of this post were taken last night. That was one thing my Hunny didn't miss about being back home...the birds and their pooping on his car...Oh, dear! ;)

SELF-WATERING TURF MAT

Green roofs made easy. Toyota Roof Gardens has developed the TM9 self-watering turf mat. This system is composed of 20 inch squares of grass on an irrigating base.

The Green Geek notes: "Green roofs are a concept familiar to most people now, they've become very popular in recent years on many buildings. As with any environmental feature, there are costs associated with the installation and maintenance in order to enjoy the benefits of the green roof. This may change with a new product that makes adding a green roof as easy as laying carpet."

Where are my gardening gloves?
