at the beach!

Hello! I will try to post more frequently soon. It has been so hot here (in the 30's!) so I have been beaching it up while I can :) These pics were taken at the annual Beach party we attended a couple weekends ago.

The first pic is of Georgian Bay, the second was a cute little otter that was hiding beneath my feet on the rocks! The last pic is another pretty beach shot, with a lonely Muskoka chair, waiting for someone to relax in!

It's another long weekend here for us in Canada, it's Civic Holiday on Monday, so I will be away until Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great weekend! xo

I love commercials Telus creates! I was searching for the song in the new one (you know, the one with all the cute fish swimming around?) I discovered that the song is by Ben Lee and is called "We're all in this together" from his 2005 cd Awake is the New Sleep.

Also, I came across this cool fish bowl, that you create and you can even add friends, then add to your blog, myspace or facebook. To make you own, click the link under my fish bowl.

Flipping through and old issue of Popular Mechanics, read an article on the new Nokia N800. It's like an iPhone with a twist - and again you can do basically anything through Internet and Wi-Fi coverage! Tres cool, and the design is quite stylish to boot.

we're back!

Wow. It feels like I've been away from the blogging world forever! LOL Had a very nice vacation week, and have TONS of pics to upload. Also, in the shop, lots of new goodies are arriving everyday! It was a busy time, and everyday we did something new. From beach parties to Wonderland...I'll be posting pics this week, and then back to my fab finds in the design world.

Love IKEA! I always find something (if not 10 things) when I go there. The classic ice cube trays are a must for summer entertainment, my fave are the long ones (like stir sticks) they go great in martini glasses.

This weekend is a very busy weekend for us, we are double-booked! Going to a Hawaiian party this afternoon, then heading to Toronto for a night on the town with friends :)

It's a rainy, blustery day out today, but muchly needed. The grass is greener and the vibrant orange tiger lillies are shining through the grayness.

Based out of the rainy city of Seattle is pare * umbrella has some very funky + unique umbrella designs. I posted a few that caught my eye. I like 'deer place' the most.

Now, with all this umbrella talk, I have the 'umbrella' song stuck in my head! *sings* "you can stand under my umbrella...under my umbrella...ella ella eh eh eh..." and now you do too! ;) hehe
